Jakarta's Biggest Community Padel League Kicks Off, 32 Teams Vie for Title

SUPERONELIGA - The vibrant padel scene in Jakarta is about to get even more exciting with the launch of the BRImo SIP Padel League 2025, organized by SIP Sports Club. This league will bring together 32 padel communities in a thrilling 15-week competition, commencing on July 20, 2025.

Matches will be held every Sunday at various prominent padel venues across Jakarta, including Smash Padel and Republic Padel, aiming to spread the enthusiasm for this rapidly growing sport throughout the city.

This community-focused league emphasizes competition, camaraderie, and connection. According to Adit Dwi, Project Manager at SIP Sports Club, the league provides a significant platform for local communities to showcase their talent and passion for padel. The league's structure is designed to be inclusive, fostering collaboration and teamwork among participants.

Competition Format

Each match between communities will consist of five segments: three men’s doubles, one women’s doubles, and one mixed doubles. This format ensures diverse participation and allows players with varying skill sets to contribute to their team's success.

The BRImo SIP Padel League 2025 will unfold in three distinct phases. First, during the league phase, the 32 participating communities will be divided into two groups to compete for a spot in the knockout stage.

Knockout and Grand Finale

The knockout phase will feature the top 16 communities—eight from each group—battling it out in a single-elimination format to determine the ultimate champion. The BRImo SIP Padel Festival 2025 will serve as the grand finale, a two-day celebration for padel enthusiasts on November 15-16, 2025.

In addition to the knockout stage matches, the festival will feature exhibition matches involving celebrities, challenges against professional athletes, coaching clinics, DJ performances, food and brand booths, along with various games and activities.

Aquarius Rudianto, Director of Network and Retail Funding at BRI, emphasized that the league's goal extends beyond crowning a champion. It aims to cultivate a robust and sustainable padel ecosystem in Indonesia and to introduce the sport to a wider audience.

Registration for interested communities is facilitated through the BRImo application or the official BRImo SIP Padel League 2025 website, with ticketing support from Goers.
